ISP(IAI)


















ISP Series


The ISPA Series of ball screw-driven linear actuators are based on an extruded aluminum frame with a built-in linear motion guide system. An AC Servo motor provides closed-loop feedback to the motion controller.

The new ISPA (and ISPD) linear actuators make use of higher-precision ball screws and encoders, improving speed, repeatability, and payload performance.

Add either the X-SEL motion controller or the E-Con positioner, and you can use ISPA Series linear actuators for both single and multi-axis cartesian positioning.

Application Note:
The ISPA Series can be combined with the DS or RCS Series to create multiple-axis cartesian system all operated from one controller.

Economical and easy to use, the ROBO Cylinder® is specifically designed to accomplish the simple tasks usually assigned to air cylinders, but with greater flexibility and control.

Offering custom control over position, speed, acceleration, deceleration, and torque, allowing for mid-move velocity changes, and control from a PLC, the ROBO Cylinder® is a versatile and easy-to-use alternative to pneumatic cylinders.

ROBO Cylinders are available in a wide variety of configurations to suit the requirements of your specific application. The main variations are found in the basic body construction and the type of motor employed.

The new and improved RCP2 & ERC utilize a hybrid stepper motor ideal for low-speed, high-thrust applications. For constant thrust across a wider range of speed, RCS actuators, which employ AC servo motors, are ideal. Both the RCP and RCS series of linear positioning actuators are available in an extensive array of rod, slider, and flat type configurations, accommodating a wide variety of application requirements.

The RCP and RCS actuators have different characteristics. The RCP actuators have higher payload capabilities at lower velocities. As the payload increases the RCP actuator will start decreasing in velocity according to its pulse motor torque curve. The RCS actuators will maintain a constant velocity throughout it’s payload rating. Once the payload rating has been exceeded the AC servo motor will cause the controller to fault out.

Depending on ballscrew lead, all ROBO Cylinder® actuators are available in high-, medium- and low-speed models. The Slider type is capable of speeds up to 1000mm per second, and the Rod type up to 800mm per second.

ROBO Cylinders are typically used in single axis applications for simple point to point positioning. They may also be integrated into multiple axis Cartesian positioning systems from Intelligent Actuator.

High accuracy positioning is possible with receiving moment load by ball screw and linear guide.
Folding axis to save space and clean type are also lined up. We meet various needs in FA.

Excellent cost performance with the reasonable price.
Multi points positioning is possible by memorizing (EEPROM backup) from 15 positions for single axis to 999 positions for 4 axes
Servo Function Controller is lined up as well. Reliability is increased with the Semi-Closed Loop Control by combining with Encoder-Mounted Type.
Speed set up can be done by every position, 2 levels for single axis and 60 levels for 4 axes.

Easy operation by just inputting position, using Jog box or personal computer's software (downloadable from SUS website).
If you use XA-ED1, direct pulse control from PLC, etc is possible.
Communication protocol is published, and the degree of freedom in establishing position, speed or acceleration is expanded.

For aluminum reclamation, about 3/100 energy of manufacturing new bare metal is needed. We can reduce consumption of natural source "bauxite".

Easy to disassemble and reform
It's easy to disassemble and also reusable because all of the connectors can be combined by bolt. In order to improve the recyclability, we adopted aluminum material for connector, too.

Good design with high durability
Green Frame excels in design and maintains glazing for a long time, because aluminum surface is anodized (more than 9µm). Also, painting is not needed.

Labor and power saving
Because connector is combined by one bolt nut, assembly procedure is reduced, and contributes to save customer's power.
